Editorial Policy and Recording Credit Research

Read how this independent archive uses sources, distinguishes fact from interpretation, handles corrections and discloses AI-assisted writing and studio imagery.

Research standards

Use original album booklets, official artist pages and record-label histories for exact releases and credits whenever possible. Direct interviews can support accounts of a specific session. Institutional remembrances provide career context. Wikipedia is a starting reference, not the sole authority for a disputed claim.

Credit precision

Name the release and original year. Preserve shared production responsibility. Do not infer an album-level role from one track, or extend a credit to a different record. For later editions, keep remixing and mastering separate from the original production. If a specific role cannot be established, describe the association conservatively or omit it.

Facts and interpretation

A factual claim concerns a documented event, date or role. A listening observation describes an editorial response to the recording. General technical explanations describe industry concepts. These categories should remain distinct. No microphone model, processing setting, quotation or private studio incident should be invented to make a passage more vivid.

AI assistance

This edition uses AI-assisted research, drafting and site construction. AI can make errors; it is not treated as a historical source. The owner should check the content against the linked references before publication. The archive does not claim professional peer review or firsthand access to the sessions.

Images

Generated environment images illustrate recording concepts. They are labeled as generated and fictional. They must not be described as real photographs of an artist, a named studio or an album session. Future authentic archival images require appropriate reuse rights and accurate provenance.

Correction requests

A useful correction identifies the page, the sentence or table entry, the proposed change and a verifiable reference. An original sleeve image or direct source is particularly helpful for credit questions. The contact page currently demonstrates a form only; the site owner must configure a working channel before it can receive requests.

Updates and dates

Prepared dates identify the creation of this edition, not an assertion that the site was already publicly available. A meaningful future revision should receive a clearly labeled update date and a short correction note when a substantive factual change has been made. Schema does not fabricate a historical publication date.

Links and independence

External links give readers sources or context. A link does not establish affiliation or endorsement. Requested contextual destinations are not used as evidence for album credits. Commercial relationships, if introduced later, should be disclosed and links qualified appropriately. This build contains no affiliate tracking or advertising scripts.
